Communicate

If a couple asked for a one word answer to the question, “what is the best way to improve our sex life?”, my answer would be, “communicate!” It’s ironic that in the intimacy of sexual intercourse, couples often avoid the intimacy of verbal communication. If something is lacking in your sex life, say something about it! Take the initiative, because he’s clearly not doing so himself (even though, trust me, you’re both thinking it). Whatever the issue is, he’s having a hard time climaxing, he’s wanting to do it for so long that it begins to hurt, it’s not happening frequently enough… whatever… call it out and talk about it. When there’s a giant pink elephant in the corner of the room, it’s ridiculous (and frankly, immature) to go about your business while acting like it’s not there. Just be honest with each other. Trust me, it will do wonders for getting him to consider marrying you.

Take the Initiative

One of the best things you could ever say to a man is, “there’s something I’ve always wanted to try, but I’ve never felt comfortable enough around someone until now, do you think we could [insert erotic idea here]?” Men are usually down for anything sexual, especially if it doesn’t require that they do much.

Some men take initiative in their sex life. Dealing with these men is pretty easy. But if you’re with a man who doesn’t seem to display much interest in sex, it’s not that he doesn’t have a sex drive. Believe me, he does. He wants to have sex. But factors like being overworked or having stigmas built up during childhood regarding sex may prevent him from expressing his sexual needs to you. The best thing you could do for such a man is to take the lead in your sex life. Come up with a new idea to try. Randomly perform fellatio without asking. Ask him to tell you things that turn him on. Sometimes you can’t just sit there waiting for him to tell you to take your panties off.

Remember, sex is very important to all men. The male sex drive makes the sun rise in the morning. Every single thing a man does is a part of the process of trying to spread his seed.
