A Big Reason Marriages Fail (Continued)

Go Back 1 | 2

The problem that arises for most men is that they realize the degree to which they value having sex with their wife goes down. If marriage was like a man signing a two year contract to pay $800 per month to drive a Porsche, it might make sense. But marriage isn’t like that. Marriage is like a man signing a lifelong contract to pay $800 per month to drive a Porsche. I doubt I need to explain to you what happens to a vehicle after a couple of decades. Men don’t sign lifelong contracts with cars because, eventually, cars no longer satisfy their needs.

Yet, the subconscious reason why most men sign a marriage contract is to secure future sexual needs. Is it any wonder that divorce rates are astonishingly high and that couples who do not divorce are often considerably unhappy individuals? A large reason for this is the declining value of the woman’s sex offerings through the eyes of the man.

Like it or not, men eventually get tired of having sex with the same woman. This is only aggravated in circumstances where the woman stops taking care of her body after marriage.

Wife Wizard Tip
Men are terrified at the thought of marrying a woman and promptly seeing her pack on 40 pounds before they celebrate their first anniversary. You can indirectly alleviate a man from these worries by saying things like, “wow it’s awful how some women gain a bunch of weight after they get married.”

In conclusion, marriage as we know it is beginning to die away. For it to continue to be popular in the future, I believe more and more men will demand sexual freedom from their wives while expecting the exact opposite in return. As it currently stands, marriage isn’t such a great deal for most men and they are slowly beginning to realize this. The marriage bubble is primed to pop.

In order for marriage to still be a viable option for men twenty years from now, I predict polygamy and marriages in which men are not expected to remain sexually faithful will be much more common than they are today.

You said a mouthful here. Marraige is a huge risk, and a huge liability for men. Women who want faithful husbands are often religious about their wants. In fact, marriage is largely a religious tenet.

What women want, for the most part, is a nice house. The niceness of the house is much more important (normally) than the beauty or virility of the husband.

Ladies, once you marry the man, if he has a house, it’s yours. You can cheat on him and divorce hum, and you still get to keep the house. In fact, you also get half of everything else in most states.

Generally speaking, divorce is a very equitable thing for women. Wizard, keep up the good work here, and may polygamy prevail!
