There are literally millions of women hoping to find love in the form of a husband. Many of these women will tell you that getting married is the number one priority in their lives. In today’s society, marriage is the most common way in which women seek to increase their value. Sure, many women focus hard on their careers, but it’s not unusual for women to view their career as a “backup plan” in case they don’t get married. By and large, finding a husband is the most important objective in the life of a single woman.
The trouble is, many women have been repeatedly unsuccessful in the search for a husband. Some of these distraught brides-to-be will tell you that there are, “just no good guys out there.” While that is probably at least partially true, I don’t think that’s their biggest problem. I think the problem is that some women aren’t that great at getting men to marry them! Shocking, I know! Women stand to improve greatly at their mission of getting a man to marry them. That is the purpose of this site: to help women build their stock as a potential wife.
You should know before continuing to read this site that I am a man. This site has been written entirely by me, a man. With that in mind, your knee-jerk reaction might be, “gee what on earth could a man possibly teach me about increasing my marriage stock?” There are two responses I’ll share with you in regards to that question:
A.) Your goal as a bride wannabe is to find a man who likes what you have to offer enough that he’ll share half of his wealth with you. When trying to figure out how to get a man to do such a thing, who better to ask than a man?
B.) It might seem intuitive to trust other women (your friends, women’s magazines, etc) with advice on how to appeal to men. But remember, they’re your competition! Like it or not, marriage is a marketplace in which you are competing with other women for the courtship of men. Keep that in mind before you readily take advice from women who, for all intents and purposes, benefit when you fail. Use the advice on this website to get an edge over the competition!
Let’s get to work. Here’s a good place to start: the Economics of Marriage.
